Welcome to GeorgiaDad.com! We are glad you found us, and we hope this website will be useful to you, especially if you are a father living in State of Georgia in the southeastern United States.
In the menu above, you’ll find links to the different pages of the Georgia Dad website. To the right, you’ll see categories of the various posts we constantly add to the site. Click on a theme title to enjoy (hopefully) posts in that category. Of course, you can just scroll down the home page to see a bit of everything, with the most recent posts at the top.
The Georgia Dad project is a work in progress, starting with this website and the accompanying Facebook page (@georgiadad). Here you will find all sorts of encouragement for dads, including Bible studies, humorous stories, parenting advice and parenting resource reviews. We also offer car reviews, super-dad food recipes, DIY ideas and other helpful columns, plus travel writing featuring regional daytrips and inexpensive local tourism. Check back weekly!
If you’re interested in being the kind of father God intends for you to be, we welcome you to join us on that same mission.
The idea for GeorgiaDad.com was born in the spring of 2018 when my wife and I were praying about what to do with Lovejoy Ledger, a small, sometimes-monthly newspaper and website we published for the community of Lovejoy, Georgia until 2017. We felt led to build two new websites: GeorigaDad.com and WelcomeToLovejoy.com.
While we want dads to enjoy everything GeorgiaDad.com offers, we most importantly want dads to learn and apply what the Bible says about being good fathers. As we set out on this journey, we will refer a lot to the New Testament book of Ephesians, which gives easy-to-grasp instruction on our relationships with Him, the Church, our wives, our children and even our coworkers.
